Specialty of product is utilising complete electrical and mechanical angle of rotation of one or more precision multi turns potentiometers of 2, 3 or 5 Watts, coupled together with motor driven by the electronic circuit with sensor to sense end positions of potentiometer and cut off the supply to motor. This saves precision potentiometer and motor from damage. Basic versions are (1) VSMP-10, with independently variable ramp up/ down time of 20 to 80 seconds and (2) MAP-103, with fixed ramp up/down time of 20 or 60 second, other cycle time on request. Standard auxiliary supply available are 24 VDC or 110 or 230 VAC. The potential free raise / lower switches are provided on the front panel of unit and external connections at the rear for remote operation facilitates the use from multiple places. One NC and NO potential free relay contacts on each ends of the potentiometer activates upon extreme mechanical end of the pot. The whole assembly is housed in 92x92 cutout panel mounting cabinet or wall mounting unit having front panel terminations. Major area of applications is operating of Drives by remote switching through PLC or other logics, Synchronization of D.G. sets etc. This product is also available with 3 ½ digit, digital display for indicating wiper position of the potentiometer.
